	by K. Martin on 7/19/2009	RN I have been using this pulse oximeter daily for over 3 years in a home health care setting. I have found it to be generally quick and accurate. I have only had to change the battery one time and it was a fairly common size and easily found. The best quality is that it works even if the patient is wearing nail polish. The one drawback is that since it is a "slide on" rather than a "clip on", it does not fit easily onto large or clubbed fingers. I have recommended this meter for my patients who want one for personal use. When I have a patient who has a chronic breathing condition, I tell their family members to consider getting them a pulse oximeter as a gift for whatever holiday may be approaching. They have enough socks and underwear. Get them something that they really need.

This meter means alot to me for I check my oxygen level a couple times a day. I have the STSP05500model.Thank you C Maximiak Devon Superstore - Hmm these batteries last a long time but in the chance it wears down, they are easy enough to find at your local electronics store.
